Background

This compendium of Aurat Foundation's ideas, dreams and actions, marks four decades of organisation's unwavering commitment to women’s human rights, gender justice, and democratic governance in Pakistan. Titled "Milestones of Struggle and Success" it is a richly illustrated 394-page coffee table book. Through historic photographs, compelling narratives, and milestones, it chronicles our journey since 1986 — highlighting the pivotal social movements, legislative breakthroughs, and grassroots mobilizations that shaped our journey.

The book has following 10 chapters:

The motto is that "no one is left behind".
